Studio Hours & Communication
I am typically working on Monday - Friday during normal business hours. I will occasionally work on design projects on a Saturday or Sunday, but generally like to keep these days email & phone free so I can recharge my creative side!
I prefer email as the main method of communication so I can refer back to our conversations throughout the design process. If you need a phone call to explain the initial details of a project, I am absolutely open to it! But please summarize the details in the online questionnaire you are sent, or send them as a bullet-point list later on in an email.
I find email works best for me on a daily basis. Though my phone is text enabled, I cannot be available for texting throughout the day and I will be in touch via text first thing in the morning, and right at the end of the day.
Though we’ve never had this problem with any of our clients - things do come up, and life happens! If you choose to terminate a project, you will be required to pay for the amount of work completed up until he date of termination at an hourly rate of $75/hour. Deposits and rush/bespoke fees are non-refundable.
You will receive the final design content in either .PSD or .INDD formats after all invoices have been paid.
Most projects take 2-3 weeks to complete. Please allow more time for websites! You’ll receive a more detailed estimate when we discuss your project details!
copyright & creative content
Clients are asked to provide a dropbox folder at the beginning of the design process that will host any logos, brand guides already established, photography, and anything else that can help me during the design process. It is the clients responsibility to make sure that they have the rights to use this content and any photographic materials! Clients will accept any and all full responsibility regarding copyright infringements.
printed marketing materials
Due to most projects being remote, and requiring printing at the client’s location, we cannot be held responsible for any unsatisfactory printing results. However, if you provide us an image of the product being poorly printed - we can contact the printer directly and discuss how to correct the issue. We are not responsible for refunding any printing fees and that will be up to you to discuss with the printer.
Payment Plans & Financial Scheduling
All payments are accepted through PayPal invoicing. However, we can definitely set you up on a payment plan after all initial deposits are paid in full.
25% of the total project fee is required as a deposit to secure your project. We are always receiving inquiries from potential clients, so this will help secure your spot in our schedule. Deposits are non-refundable.

50% of the total project amount is due at the decided end date of the project or prior to launch.
RUSH & BESPOKE PROJECTS
50% of the total project cost is due at contract signing time. This is non-refundable.
The remaining 50% is due at project decided end date and/or date of launch or print.
Final invoices not paid within 7 business days from the invoice date will incur a $75 late fee per week. Final projects will not be delivered or confirmed as OK to launch until all payments have been received.
Revisions & Updates
Each client is granted 3 rounds of revisions & updates to any given design project for each stage of the project. For example, for a Shopify website, you get 3 revisions for the initial set up, 3 revisions for the development, and then 3 revisions during the creative design!
This has not yet happened with our clients, but additional revisions are available for $50/revision.
When working with me, you will need to set up paid plans when working with email or website content. You can see my take on the best of the best here and also the pricing structure for each of these platforms.
You will need to consider the price of my design services when calculating your investment.
You will also need to calculate the cost of a domain name, and any additional services you choose to purchase at that time (security features, for example). I recommend using GoDaddy or Google Domains.
The design process will sometimes require me to have your passwords or access to your information. I will not sell or profit from any of your private information under any circumstance.
By submitting an order and completing your deposit, you — the client — are acknowledging that you have read, understand and agree to these terms of design.
